Raquel was born the middle child of three. Her older sister Sam and her younger sister Michelle were her best friends growing up. That joy changed when she was 12, her parents started treating her differently and pushing her sisters away from her. Once Raquel hit 16, her parents kicked her out of the house and she had to survive on her own. A few years later after doing what she had to, to survive, Raquel meets Jasmine at a bar and has been with her ever since. Coming from the hardship of her home life, Raquel is determined to never do that to Jasmine's and hers daughter Haley.
